The Terms.
Please read our terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking with us, you accept the terms and conditions on behalf of the entire booking party.
BOOKINGS & QUOTES
Bookings can be made on our website at thestayberawa.com or by emailing us directly at thestayberawa@gmail.com
Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Any written quote given is an estimate only and is valid for 48hours.
You agree to pay the rate for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have departed accommodation.
PAYMENT POLICY
To secure your dates we require 100% payment up front if you are booking 3 nights or less. If booking 4 or more nights we require a 50% non-refundable deposit up front, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to your stay.
Payments are accepted by direct deposit into an Australian bank account, or PayPal.
If paying by PayPal or international bank transfer you will be responsible for any PayPal or bank/transfer associated fees, as well as any currency conversion fees (if applicable).
All payments are processed in AUD (Australian Dollars).
RATES & CHARGES
Rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and are subject to change at any time. Rates are inclusive of taxes & services where applicable. Minimum length of stay restrictions apply. The price of your accommodation cannot be guaranteed until booking confirmation is received.
CANCELLATION TERMS & CHARGES
We have a no-cancellation policy at The Stay Berawa. If you cancel your booking at any point your funds will be forfeited.
You may modify your booking prior to 21 days of your stay, pending availability, and for the same amount of nights within the next 12 month period. You may only modify your booking once.
No cancellations or modifications are accepted within the 21 day period or on the day of arrival or after check in. You will be charged the total of the reserved stay under all circumstances. Written notification must be provided for all cancellations.
No refund will be given if the accommodation is deemed unsuitable, for any reason, after check in.
DAMAGE
In the event of damage to the property, equipment, breakages, or if extra cleaning is required you will be responsible for the costs involved.
CHILDREN
The Stay Berawa is happy to welcome families and children, and Berawa is a very family friendly area. There are no additional charges if port-a-cot, roll away bed, play mat and high chair is required. Please email us to request.
There is no pool fence, and no railing on the the staircase, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your children (or any other guest) throughout your stay. We are happy to coordinate the installation of temporary pool fencing, or stair gates if you organise and pay for these externally.
No refund will be given if the accommodation is deemed unsuitable after check in.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional charge. Any persons exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property will be considered trespassers and will be evicted.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Standard check in time is 2:00pm and accommodation is to be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. An additional fee will be charged if you do not check out by 11.00am. Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of management and must be requested at the time of booking and can only be confirmed 1 day prior to arrival or departure. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, the only way to absolutely ensure early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra night or half day where availability permits. Half day rates are charged at 50% of the nightly rate..
CLEANING
Extra cleaning and linen change can be arranged during your stay for an additional charge, at a cost to you. Please contact management for further details. On departure, your accommodation is to be left in a clean and tidy state. Extra cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached.
SMOKING
Smoking inside the villa is strictly prohibited. Please ensure doors and windows are closed if smoking on balconies or in courtyards.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our terms and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupant’s personal property left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.
BEHAVIOUR
Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited, unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Disturbance to other accommodation guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES
Upon check out accommodation should be left clean and tidy. Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full by the guest. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be the responsibility of the guest. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.
POOL, SPA & ROOFTOP RULES
All guests using the pool, spa or rooftop areas (including the spiral staircase) do so at their own risk. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for accidents or injuries. No diving, running or pushing in pool area is allowed. No glassware allowed in the pool area. Children must be supervised at all times. Please note both the inside and outside floors (tiles and concrete) can be slippery when wet or dry, please take extra precaution in these areas and keep them as dry as possible at all times.
LIABILITIES
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms, power outages over Bali, or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.
CHANGES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to Acts of God.
BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions: You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach. We may evict you and your guests without notice.
PAYMENT OF A DEPOSIT OR FULL PAYMENT CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
